A two-day program to provide training on and resources for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System. The course expands upon information addressed in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses.
Federal mandate requires completion of this program by appropriate management-level personnel (see below) in order to be eligible to receive emergency preparedness grant funds.
Prerequisites:
Successful completion of ICS-100 and ICS-200.
Command or General Staff experience is recommended.
Audience:
Designed for individuals who may assume a supervisory role in expanding incidents or Type 3 incidents, which may involve activation of some or all of the Command and General Staff positions, as well as Division/Group Supervisor and/or Unit Leader level positions. The audience for this training includes representatives of Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services, Emergency Management Agency, Fire Service, Hazardous Material, Public Works, Governmental Administrative, Public Safety Communications, Health Care, and Public Health.
Program includes continental breakfast, lunch, and course materials.
