Brill Law Enforcement Action in Democracy (LEAD) - TBD
In collaboration with North East Multi-Regional Training (NEMRT), NIPSTA is excited to host the Illinois Holocaust Museum and Education Center’s newly designed four (4) hour “On the Road” Brill Law Enforcement Action in Democracy (LEAD) program on February 29th from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. This program works with law enforcement officials providing them with the training and tools necessary for understanding abuses of authority, responding to hate crimes and bias, and balancing the rights of individuals with societal protection. The course meets the following Illinois State Mandates: Culture Competency (1 hour); Human Rights (2 hours) & Procedural Justice (1 hour). Click HERE to register or go to www.nemrt.com.

Law Enforcement Driver Training

The NIPSTA Law Enforcement Driver Training Program is certified by the National Academy for Professional Driving (NAPD).
The 2-day and 3-day courses are designed to enhance the driving skills and knowledge of police officers. Training includes classroom instruction and hands-on driving exercises.
